Yesterday, the 2019/2020 Irish Aid Fellowship candidates who are travelling to Ireland to begin their Postgraduate Studies were hosted by Deputy Ambassador Lisa Doherty at the Irish Embassy in Nairobi.

Fully funded by Irish Aid, the programme offers selected students the opportunity to undertake a fully-funded one-year master’s programme at a prestigious higher education institution (HEI) in Ireland. The award covers course fees, flights, and accommodation and living costs. Eligible master’s courses in Ireland commence in August or September each year and, depending on the course, will run for between 10 and 16 months. The Programme promotes equal opportunity and welcomes diversity.

During the visit to the Embassy, the candidates also received useful tips from one of the 2018 Scholar Milka Omukuba who studied at UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School.

Irish Ambassador Fionnuala Quinlan We wish you every success & happiness in your studies & hope you return as life-long friends of Ireland
