BATUK FC hosted Baraka FC on Saturday 27 July.
Starting the game strongly, the team from the British Army training Unit pressured the opposition with some excellent passing which saw them keep the ball for long spells in the game.
Despite creating several chances in the first half, the BATUK FC team failed to find the back of the net, meaning the teams went into the half time break goalless.
The second half started with BATUK on the back foot as Baraka FC started brightly and were rewarded with a goal.
BATUK FC continued to make chances and were finally was rewarded with two goals in quick succession from Staff Sergeant Butlin.
The British Army Staff Sergeant scored his hattrick with 10 minutes remaining before Baraka FC scored a goal to reduce the deficit to one goal.
BATUK held on for a 3-2 victory and following the game, several presentations were made with. BATUK FC donating a kit for one of the Baraka youth teams. The visitors presented BATUK FC with a plaque to say thank you for their ongoing support.
