Second YSK National Science & Technology Exhibition opens in Nairobi

The Irish government supported Young Scientists Kenya (YSK) programme kicks off its second national event today (3 August) at the Kenyatta International Convention Center (KICC).

Running until August 7, the event is expecting an attendance of more than 10,000 participants and will be opened by President Uhuru Kenyatta, with national and international guests drawn from the Government, the private sector, Academia, non-state actors and schools throughout the country also taking part.

The event will showcase the scientific talents of the young participants and their solutions towards national development, and attainment of the BIG 4 Agenda and Vision 2030.
