Irish Ambassador discusses the Big 4 Agenda with UN Resident Co-ordinator to Kenya

On Thursday, Irish Ambassador Fionnuala Quinlan met with United Nations Resident Co-ordinator to Kenya Siddharth Chatterjee.

According to Mr Chatterjee, the two discussed “Ireland’s incredible development journey, from historic poverty to a well developed economy and a highly progressive country”.

They also explored ways in which Ireland and the UN can work together to advance the Kenyan government’s Big 4 development agenda.

Following the meeting, the Irish Embassy thanked the UN Resident Co-ordinator “for such a wide-ranging and optimistic perspective” on Kenya and for his “crucial work on gender equality, economic empowerment and development“.
