In one day, Julian Bryant, Christian Aid Norfolk’s Coordinator Julian Bryant is cycling 150 miles coast to coast across the UK to raise much needed funds to help the charity’s partners make a difference to the more than a million Kenyan children who have lost their parents to AIDS related illnesses.

Of the 160,000 children under 15 years living with HIV, less than half get the lifesaving antiretroviral drugs they need to survive.

For every £1 donated, USAid will add an extra £20. This means a £5 donation from becomes £105, £10 becomes £210 and every £100 raised becomes £2100.

Julian says that this potentially huge level of financial support and the help it will provide to Kenyan children “makes cycling up the 1 in 3 Hardknott Pass worth it”.
