New Irish Ambassador hosts meeting with Concern charity country leaders

On Friday, new Irish Ambassador Fionnuala Quinlan met with the Kenya, Somalia and Sudan country leaders of international humanitarian charity Concern to discuss their work in Kenya.

Concern, who also receive funding from the UK Department for International Development through UKaid, are working on projects which combat suffering and build resilience in Kenya through establishing programmes which will strengthen resilience, respond to emergencies and provide access to quality education.

Following the Irish Embassy said: “Ireland is proud to partner with Concern on education, nutrition, economic empowerment and building resilience in the region.”
