Vivo Energy is forming a joint venture to accelerate the roll-out of KRC restaurants in Kenya.

London Stock Exchange registered African fuel retailer Vivo Energy Plc said on Thursday that it would form a joint venture with KFC’s East African franchise owner to accelerate the roll-out of restaurants in Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda.

Vivo Energy have a network of over 2,000 service stations across Africa.

Vivo Energy distributes and markets Shell and Engen branded fuels and lubricants to retail and commercial customers in Africa.

They operate in 23 countries across North, West, East and Southern Africa where they have a network of over 2,000 service stations. In addition, they also export lubricants to a number of other African countries.
