Yesterday, the British Chamber of Commerce Kenya hosted a Business 4 Business workshop at the Movenpick Hotel in Nairobi. It was organised in response to feedback following the Chamber Business Growth and Talent Management B2B forum in March looking for guidance about how SMEs can scale up their businesses.

Yamini Virani CEO Celebrus Business Strategies was the first guest speaker, and she provided a detailed understanding on business growth and shared six steps to help grow revenue and profits.

She told attendees that in order to achieve business growth, they will need to master four areas which are key in decision making including time, delivery, finance and destination.

The second session of the day, titled Understanding Leadership and Management, looked at the skills needed to take a company to its next level by Java CEO Paul Smith and Career Connections Founding Director and Managing Director Madeleine Dunford.

During her career in consultancy, she has been involved in the assessment of senior candidates in some of the most successful organisations in the banking, airline and telecommunications industries.

Attendees also took part in interactive group sessions during the workshop.
