This week, the Irish Embassy in Nairobi are hosting Irish agribusinesses who have expressed an interest in exploring opportunities in Kenya and the wider East African region which can help create jobs and drive growth.

On Monday, they held meetings with the State Department for Trade, Ministry of Industry, Trade & Cooperatives along with Business Ireland Kenya, KenInvest, TradeMark East Africa and Self Help Africa.

Tweeting about the visit, Irish Charge d’Affaires Lisa Doherty said: “Delighted to welcome Irish companies to Kenya this week to explore opportunities for trade and investment in agri-food in the region, facilitated by the Irish Embassy.

“Our Business Ireland Kenya network was out in force to share experiences and promote Kenya,” she added.
