Secretary-General of the Commonwealth Patricia Scotland has met with Kenyan Cabinet Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Monica Juma during her visit to the East African country.
The former HM Attorney General was in Kenya to launch the Africa segment of the Commonwealth SME Trade Programme.
As Ms Juma is Chairing the upcoming Commonwealth Ministerial Action Group, Baroness Scotland briefed her on preparations as well as the agenda for the next Commonwealth summit to be held in 2020.
The pair also discussed the growing Kenya-Commonwealth relations.
Following their meeting, CS Juma presented Baroness Scotland with some souvenirs including the Kenyan tourist ‘passport’ and a bag.
