Lisa Doherty discusses potential of blockchain technology to aid youth job creation in Kenya

On Tuesday (7 May), Irish Chargé d’Affaires and Acting Ambassador Lisa Doherty welcomed International Non-Governmental Organisation strategic Advisor and former Sightsavers Ireland Chief Executive, Catrina Sheridan, and Dublin based Managing Director of digital content company Outlier Alan Haverty to the Embassy in Nairobi.

The pair had dropped in to talk about the potential of blockchain technology in creating jobs for youth in Kenya.

Commenting on their visit, the Irish Embassy said it was “always a good day when interesting and passionate people stop by the Embassy,” describing the meeting as a “great opportunity for Irish and Kenyan collaboration towards the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals.”
