On Tuesday, BATUK FC faced a team from the 8th Brigade (Bde) Kenyan Army.
The Team from the British Army Training Unit Kenya (BATUK) made six changes to the starting line up who were victorious against Nanyuki Sportiff earlier in the month.
After a slow start, two mistakes were ruthlessly punished by the Kenyan team giving them a two goal lead at the break.
A second half injury forced a change in the BATUK FC line-up, and as the visitors pressed for a goal, they were caught on the counter attack to make the score 3-0. BATUK FC continued to press but were hit on the counter twice more with the game ending in a 5-0 victory to the home side.
Both teams wagered a goat on the outcome of the game, so the Kenyan team ate well that evening as BATUK FC were left to lick their wounds as they begin preparations for their 2-day tour of Nairobi on 17 May.
