A headteacher from Ringwood has recently returned from a visit to the Zelyn Academy in Kenya which her school has been twinned with for the last eight years.

Sally-Ann Evans joined the Kibera school as it celebrated its 10th anniversary and during the visit, her pupils from Ringwood Junior School were able to interact with their Kenyan counterparts and even sang to them via the internet.

She took gifts including skipping ropes, sweets, pencils, pens and greeting cards, donated by pupils with her to Nairobi which took place from January 28 to February 4.
