New Kenyan High Commissioner meets British Minister for Africa

On Monday, Kenya’s new High Commissioner to the UK, Manoah Esipisu met with the British Minister for Africa Harriett Baldwin.

Ms Baldwin took the opportunity to share her sympathies with Mr Esipisu over the terrorist attack at the DusitD2 comples in Nairobi a fortnight ago.

She went on to describe Kenya as a “vital partner for Britain” and said she was looking forward to the two countries “working together on the big issues, including security and prosperity.”

Commenting after the meeting, Mr Esipisu said he was looking forward to “working together to deepen the partnership in bilaterial issues, trade, tourism, investment and security.”
