British football clubs give their support to SportPesa’s Kits for Africa campaign

Everton, Southampton and Hull City have signed up to support the third year of SportPesa’s annual Kits for Africa campaign which encourages football fans to donate their old kit to sports mad communities across Africa.

Over the last two years, just under 30,000 kits have been collected, continuing the company’s commitment to building and developing grassroots football.

Initially launched as Kits for Kenya before expanding to cover the whole continent, the campaign invites fans to donate any unwanted football kit and equipment (shirts, shorts, socks, boots etc) so that it can be put to good use by those playing the beautiful game in less privileged areas.

During Hull City’s trip in Kenya in May, some of the donated kits were handed out by Head Coach Nigel Adkins and his players. These are now being put to good use with hundreds of keen footballers benefitting from the generosity of British football fans.
