The 2nd Battalion of the Parachute Regiment have completed the challenging Exercise Askari Storm which has been run by the British Army Training Unit Kenya (BATUK).

Archers Post in the Samburu National Reserve has been a British military training area for 60 years with the 90,000 hectares providing a testing environment even for the most experienced regular soldiers.

The training takes place in soaring temperatures alongside dangerous wildlife in one of the British Army’s largest live-firing ranges.

Following the end of their training exercise, the regiment are now preparing to support the local community with one of the many Community Engagement Projects carried out by exercising personnel.
