Business Ireland Kenya (BIK) yesterday said a fond farewell to outgoing Irish Ambassador Dr Vincent O’Neill during their Annual General Meeting and final breakfast meeting of 2018.
The focus of the meeting was reviewing 2018, looking ahead to 2019 and exploring the opportunities for BIK members.

After a welcome by BIK co-chair Niall Meany, attendees watched a presentation by KPMG Head of Advisory Services Gerald Kasimu, who then joined a panel discussion alongside Chair of East Africa Association Stewart Henderson, Melvin March International CEO Flora Mutahi, Nairobi Bospital CEO Gordon Odundo, Mr Kasimu and Ambassador Dr O’Neill.

BIK members then showed their appreciation of the outgoing Ambassador’s work and support during his tenure in Kenya.
Dr O’Neill described the send off as “very touching”, adding that it was “heartening to see great progress being made in advancing Ireland – Kenya business relations in a manner that is so beneficial to both countries.
