Yesterday, the UK High Commissioner to Kenya, Nic Hailey, invited Donald Kipkorir for a very British afternoon tea with scones.
The pair discussed how to grow the UK and Kenya relationship and on Twitter, Mr Kipkorir said he looked forward to “increased support for Kenya to be at least Little Britain.”
Although Mr Hailey said he respectfully disagreed with the ‘Little Britain’ comment in his reply to the Tweet, adding that Kenya was forging its own path, he said it had been “nice to see” Mr Kipkorir and that it was “good to chat”.
