The Duke of Cambridge, Prince William, shared his love of football with Kenyan school children and a local football team during his visit to Laikipia today.
After visiting the British Army Training Unit Kenya (BATUK) to see how UK and Kenyan troops train together, William stopped by at Ol Maiso Primary School in Laikipia where he enjoyed a football match with the children and tried his hand at a penalty kick.
He also handed out sports equipment to the school which benefits from being part of one of the British Army Training Unit Kenya (BATUK) community projects.
Later, the Prince met the local football team in Kinamba Town and presented them with kits from Aston Villa, the team which William supports.
As well as a visit to BATUK to see British and Kenyan service personnel taking part in training, he also met President Kenyatta for talks around conservation.
