Yesterday, Kenyan Cabinet Secretary for Trade, Industry and Co-operatives, Peter Munya, met with Irish Ambassador Dr Vincent O’Neill to plan for his forthcoming visit to Ireland during which he will deliver a keynote address at the 6th Africa Economic Forum on 11 October 2018 in the Dublin Convention Centre.
Joining CS Peter Munya at the Forum will be top level political leaders and senior business figures from both Ireland and Africa, including the Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade, Simon Coveney T.D.
This year’s event will build on the success of previous Forums, bringing together business people and thought leaders from Europe’s most dynamic economy with those from the world’s most dynamic continent.
Since the first Forum in 2010, Irish trade with Africa has increased steadily, with further growth forecast. The Forum is organised by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade together with the African Embassies in Ireland.
