British Gor Mahia coach, Dylan Kerr, has revealed that he has had it confirmed that Scottish giants Glasgow Rangers FC will be sending scouts to run the rule over his players during their friendly fixture against Everton on 6 November.

If any of Kerr’s team catch the eye of the visiting scouts, they could follow in the footsteps of Kenyan national team captain Victor Wanyama who made his way to the English Premier League with Tottenham after playing for Rangers’ Glasgow rivals Celtic.

The game in Liverpool is the Kenya team’s reward for defending their SportPesa Super Cup title by defeating Tanzania’s Simba FC 2-0 in the final of the competition.

The Toffees travelled to East Africa last year to face the inaugural SportPesa Super Cup winners in a fixture that saw Everton overcome Gor Mahia 2-1, courtesy of goals from Wayne Rooney and Kieran Dowell.
