Where to watch the Champions League Final between Real Madrid and Liverpool in Nairobi

Real Madrid v Liverpool
Liverpool face Real Madrid in the Champions League Final

Tomorrow, Real Madrid will be aiming for a third straight Champions League triumph, but will have to overcome the competition’s top scorers with 46 goals, Liverpool.

However, Jürgen Klopp’s Liverpool team have no reason to fear Real Madrid with their irrepressible front three capable of inflicting serious damage on the holders. If the Reds can muster the same defensive fortitude that served them so well over two legs against Manchester City in the quarter finals, they might just crown this remarkable campaign with a sixth European Cup.

Speaking ahead of the final, the Liverpool boss said: “There are many reasons why we are where we are right now, and I’m immensely proud of what the boys have achieved. We aren’t anyone else. We are Liverpool, on the way to becoming a really good team, and performing at such a high level is very cool. It’s been a crazy ride but, after all, we’ve earned our place here.”

In Kenya, the final is being broadcast on SuperSport (Channels SuperSport 3 Live, SuperSport 10 Live and SuperSport Blitz) with programmes beginning at 7.30pm.

However, if you’d prefer to head out and join the crowds watching the game live, it is being shown at both the Purdy Arms which is run by British Expats as well as the Two Rivers Mall.

The Purdy Arms are showing the game live on their big screens and to reserve a table, call 0712 007001. However, any tables not occupied 15 minutes before kick-off will be given away, so make sure you get there nice and early.

There is also a live viewing of the match in the Two Rivers Mall Grounds, which will open at 6pm. The entry price of Ksh 1,000 can be redeemed for 4 beers.

Kick-off local time is 9.45pm.
