UK’s Foreign & Commonwealth Office release updated Kenya economic factsheet

The UK Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) Economics Unit’s economic has released their latest factsheet for Kenya summarising key economic data over 2 pages.

It offers a snapshot of economic data under headings such as trade/investment, economic development and government finance.

According to the factsheet which you can read in full above, the population of Kenya is 46.7 million, population density (people per km²) is 85.1 and life expectancy is 67.

It shows IMF predictions indicating inflation will drop to around 5% and GDP will rise to around 6%.

On the World Bank Ease of Doing Business rankings, Kenya is placed at 80 (out of 189), which is higher than South Africa, but two places below China (the UK is ranked 7).
