Defiant Kenyan born UKIP leader insists he will not step down

The Kenyan born leader of the UK Independence Party (UKIP), has insisted he has no plans to stand down despite questions over his relationship with a 25-year-old glamour model from Maidstone.

Henry Bolton has faced criticism over his private life recently, but in an interview with Westmonster he confirmed his marriage is over, he’s in a serious relationship with Jo Marney and he has no plans to quit as UKIP Leader.

Speaking to the website, Mr Bolton claimed that the recent media attention regarding his private life was an attempt by left-wing opposition to damage his party.

He describes his relationship with Jo Marney as “serious”, and added that his marriage had “been in a difficult situation for a number of years.”

Confirming he has no plans to stand down, he used the interview to directly address UKIP members, saying: “I’m exactly the same person you elected as Leader. My private life has changed, that’s been a long time in the mix. I’m absolutely 100% dedicated to sticking with the agenda I have created and driving it forward.”
