Two new UK TV specials showing in Kenya over Christmas

Two new ITV Christmas specials are making the journey from the UK for broadcast during the Christmas period on itvCHOICE in Kenya.

The latest outing for Pauline Quirke, Linda Robson and Lesley Joseph in Birds of a Feather is showing on Christmas Day, followed by Jenna Coleman reprising her role as Queen Victoria on Boxing Day.

Birds of a Feather Christmas Special: The House for the Rising Sons

The festive season is around the corner in Chigwell and Tracey has got big plans that could upset the harmony in the house over the holiday period. Meanwhile, Sharon has come up with a novel approach to doing her Christmas shopping and Dorien has got a mystery to solve. What could possibly go wrong?

Laurence Marks and Maurice Gran’s long-running comedy returns for a festive special, starring Pauline Quirke, Linda Robson and Lesley Joseph as the three friends and sparring partners, with Emily Atack.

Birds of a Feather is scheduled for broadcast on Christmas Day at 14:15 on itvCHOICE (DStv channel 123) with a repeat showings at 19:20 and 23:55 as well as Tuesday 26 December at 10:20 and Saturday 30 December at 17:25.

Victoria: Christmas Special

In this feature-length festive special, it is Christmas 1846 and Victoria is uncharacteristically sad as she prepares to face her first Christmas without her beloved Baroness Lehzen, while Albert transforms the palace into a magical festive wonderland as he is gripped by an obsession with staging the perfect family Christmas.

But tensions between the couple mount when the prince invites house guests to join the celebrations. Meanwhile, Skerrett inherits a large estate from an estranged uncle. Starring Jenna Coleman and Tom Hughes.

Victoria is scheduled for broadcast on Boxing Day (26 December) at 00:50 and 13:15 on itvCHOICE (DStv channel 123), with repeat showings on Friday 29 December at 21:00, Saturday 30 December at 19:30, Monday 1 January at 13:00 and Thursday 4 January at 00:50.
