Metalwork and Welding students at the Nyamache Seed of Hope centre in Kisii have received a very special donation of safety equipment from British based Boo charity.

Nyamache is a small village on the outskirts of the vibrant town of Kisii in Nayanza Province. It is the location of the Boo charity funded ‘Seed of Hope’ centre which was created to provide local children with the possibility of a brighter future.

The programme delivered at the centre covers three main areas of education, which are life skills, vocational skills and micro-business skills.

Ruth, a recent graduate of Nyamache Seed of Hope, has received a small grant to boost her business after meeting Boo Trustee, Russel Hicks.

Thanks to this grant she was able to purchase the necessary licence to allow her small business to operate legally, as well as been able to boost her stock by buying new fabrics and materials.
