Victoria Beckham and her eldest son Brooklyn are currently visiting Kenya to support the First Lady, Margaret Kenyatta’s Beyond Zero campaign.

On the first day of their stay, they learn about the services offered by one of the Beyond Zero mobile clinics which have been donated to Kiambu county by the First Lady.

The UNAIDS goodwill ambassador was at Ngarariga Chief’s Camp in Limuru during a Beyond Zero Campaign event where she was received by Philomena Kabogo, Kiambu County Governor William Kabogo’s wife.

Mrs Beckham thanked Mrs Kabogo for the warm welcome and the excellent reception she received from local performers.

Beyond Zero Federation

The Beyond Zero Foundation was formed in January 2014 to partner with the government in reducing maternal and child mortality.

Spearheaded by The First Lady of the Republic of Kenya, Her Excellency Margaret Kenyatta, the Beyond Zero Campaign is part of the initiatives outlined in her strategic framework towards HIV control, promotion of maternal, new born and child health in Kenya.
