UK based Boo Charity, which supports children in Kenya, are appealing for auction and raffle prize donations for their 7th fundraising ball which is just over 2 weeks away.

This year’s Ball is being held at the grand AFC Bournemouth on 18th June. Last year’s event at Bournemouth’s Highcliff Marriott Hotel raised an incredible £12,500, with 100% of the proceeds went directly to the Early Childhood Development Project which supports around 400 children, allowing them to receive an education.

“This year BOO will be celebrating the success of the past 12 months and will be increasing support for the coming year. The event kicks off with a drinks reception (kindly sponsored by the Boathouse, Christchurch) followed by a 3 course meal, Charity Auction and Live Music from The Brightside Band!”

If you are a business or individual and would like to help by making a donation, such as a meal for two, a break abroad or any treat you could make available, please email

The charity have also sent a “massive thank you” to everyone who’s kindly donated auction and raffle prizes so far. All the money raised from the Ball will be used to directly support their ongoing projects including the Early Childhood Development Centres, the Nyamache ‘Seed of Hope’ school, St Andrews Baby Unit and the Football Club Initiative.
