Nic Hailey meets Amina Mohamed for talks on bilateral and regional issues

Today, the UK High Commissioner to Kenya, Nic Hailey met with Ambassador Amina Mohamed, the Kenyan Cabinet Secretary for Foreign Affairs and International Trade.

At the meeting, which was held at the Kenyan Foreign Office, the pair discussed bilateral & regional issues.

Later, the High Commissioner welcomed the UK’s Trade envoy to Kenya and Tanzania, Lord Clive Rollick as he arrived in the country at the start of a three day visit.

CS Mohamed is a Somali-Kenyan lawyer, diplomat and politician who has previously served as Chairwoman of the International Organization for Migration and the World Trade Organisation’s General Council, as well as Assistant Secretary-General and Deputy Executive Director of the United Nations Environment Programme.

She became the Cabinet Secretary for Foreign Affairs of Kenya on 20 May 2013.
