The occasion generated a lot of positive comments over social media, showing how popular the British High Commissioner is in the country.

“When I finally board the place next week headed to London, I will no longer be British High Commissioner to Kenya, but automatically become the Ambassador for Kenya.” – Doctor Christian Turner

Other guests at the function were former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, Mau Mau spokesman Gitu Wakahengeri and Nairobi Securities Exchange Chairman Edward Njoroge.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank Doctor Turner for the amazing job he has done for the UK in Kenya and wish him and his family all the best for the future.
