Club Rafiki runner raises £716 for Kenyan charity

Cameron Parker successfully ran the Great South Run for Club Rafiki on 22nd October.

The fundraiser’s employer SRE generously doubled the money he raised making a grand total of an amazing £716.25.

British based Kenyan charity Club Rafiki are a grassroots charity dedicated to supporting educational needs of disadvantaged children of Nanyuki Preparatory School in Kenya.

Their vision is for all the children living in poverty to receive schooling to increase their prospects for a good job and a better future.

They also encourage the involvement of children in the UK by becoming pen-friends with children in Nanyuki. There are currently over 80 pen friends, and for more information in becoming one, please email Eve Coles
