A tennis tournament in aid of Sport Relief and the Strathallan School Kenya Fund on 20 March raised enough money to put six children through Mashimoni Squatters Primary School in Nairobi’s Kibera Slum, for a whole year.

Nearly 150 players entered the event at Strathallan School run by Scottish Tennis Holidays and senior Kinnoull Tennis Club coach Jane Morrison, raising £750.

“I would like to thank all those who helped on the day ensuring the tournament was such a success.

“And special thanks go to all those who donated home baking and the magnificent Strathallan pupils who ran the cafe and helped umpire.”

 – Jane Morrison, Kinnoull Tennis Club coach
