#KenyaLive leaves Mahali Mzuri and arrives at Wilson Airport

The #KenyaLive team have said farewell to Richard Branson’s luxury safari camp Mahali Mzuri and departed for Wilson Airport for the second stage of the project as they head for Watamu.

The name Mahali Mzuri means ‘beautiful place’ in Swahili, and Virgin owner Sir Richard Branson owns the luxurious Safari Camp located within the Olare Motorogi Conservancy which covers an area of 13,500 hectares!

At Wilson Airport, the team chat to AirKenya General Manager Dino Bisleti.

Wilson Airport is an airport in Nairobi which has flights to many regional airports in Kenya while Nairobi’s main airport, Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, serves domestic and many international destinations.

Industries that use Wilson Airport extensively include tourism, health care and agriculture, averaging around 120,000 landings and take-offs annually.
