American actress and patron of the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust (DSWT), Kristin Davis has thanked supporters for buying J.Crew t-shirts featuring a drawing of Bongo the elephant as part of the company’s Garments for Good range which raises money for good causes.
J.Crew teamed up with Brooklyn-based artist Hugo Guinness to create the limited-edition t-shirt, featuring a glittery illustration of energetic four-year-old elephant Bongo. He was was rescued by DSWT last September and reportedly enjoys grazing in fields and taking mud baths.
The company have a number of other garments available including crewcuts, sweatshirts and t-shirts with different designs.
This isn’t the first time Kristin has promoted charity clothing to raise money for elephant conservation. Last year she designed and helped to sell over 1,000 “Say No To Ivory”, thanking fans for their support in the Facebook video you can watch below.
